In the dead of night, a young girl wakes her father, claiming she can’t sleep because her mother is tapping on her bedroom window. He soothes her with a story and a music box, insisting her fears are just dreams. But as the lullaby fades, the tapping return.

During a night drive, John stops at a rest stop near a highway. When he enters the building, he hears a man assaulting a woman in the ladies room. John struggles with the idea of intervening as the altercation escalates.
A couple unexpectedly finds a briefcase with enough money inside to change their lives forever. With no one around to lay claims to their prize, they take it as their own. However, it seems someone else was looking for the briefcase and now they must avoid them at all costs or they fear the worst could happen.

The death of the minotavr talks about the concept of the heroine's journey. Suffering, horror and exhaustion lead the protagonist to a process of transformation, abyss and expiation, because only murdering to minotaur and everything he represents is possible to return to life. From the female gaze, it shows the depth of the emotional wounds caused by domestic violence; the same one that the surrealist Dora Maar lived and that ask why, as a society, instead of killing the minotaur, we blindly continue to send him women only to be devoured and ask them why they simply did not fight, why they did not try get out of the labyrinth.

And it is always in such moments that we discover a truth about ourselves. And in such a moment, Sally discovers a reason to live.

TRON: The Next Day is a 10-minute short film, released on the Blu-ray edition of TRON: Legacy in April 2011, that fills in the backstory between TRON and TRON: Legacy. It features scenes from the real-world Flynn Lives ARG as well as purely in-universe content. The short film also reveals the full chronology of the Flynn Lives Organization, naming Roy Kleinberg as the secret figure heading up the operation and Alan Bradley as its financial backer. Some scenes in the short also set up the story for a potential third film.
