The Atherton family name has been a staple in British mountain biking for 2 decades, with huge success in international racing and multiple world championship titles between them, mountain biking's most successful family are have had their ups and downs. With insight from MTB journalists and family friends, we'll be reminiscing on their past achievements, and looking at what the future has to hold. With a sawmill, a bike park and a bike brand recently added to their name, their life in mountain biking is beginning a new chapter. We went to visit them in the Dyfi valley to take a look at how the Atherton drive has turned passion projects into fully fledged businesses.

Our featured athletes are defined by their fans as they stand in awe of their continuous and staggering accomplishment riding their bikes. Through the timeline of the film we will take the viewer on a journey showing where each athlete’s fears originate from, how their fears got implanted into their psyche and what they do to manage through their fears to accomplish the unthinkable to be revered by all that are thunderstruck by their riding.

Veronique Sandler, a former World Cup racer, has paved her own way in the mountain bike industry away from competition. This is a film about her VISION for the future of a sport. Taking inspiration from the streets, dirt jumping and freeride, this action focused documentary follows Veronique’s journey alongside her heroes as she brings her VISION to life. Blood Road (2017)
