A man goes on a walk.
A man goes on a walk.
The motif in this animation is the memories of my dog which lived 17 years.
Emerging from the sea onto land an axolotl swims through complex terrain parallel to a man searching for an encounter with God.

In this short film, a young man, a girl and a dog attempt to fly with wings more symbolic than practical.
X-ray images were invented in 1895, the same year in which the Lumière brothers presented their respective invention in what today is considered to be the first cinema screening. Thus, both cinema and radiography fall within the scopic regime inaugurated by modernity. The use of X-rays on two sculptures from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum generates images that reveal certain elements of them that would otherwise be invisible to our eyes. These images, despite being generally created for technical or scientific purposes, seem to produce a certain form of 'photogénie': they lend the radiographed objects a new appearance that lies somewhere between the material and the ethereal, endowing them with a vaporous and spectral quality. It is not by chance that physics and phantasmagoria share the term 'spectrum' in their vocabulary.

A synthesis of sound and movement; colourful characters dance and move in repetitive patterns to percussive and melodic elements. A combination of motion and music that is hypnotic and beautiful. At first it feels structured and orderly but as more elements are added becomes quixotically expressive.

Shot on 16mm film in New York and composed in Berlin, the work explores polarizing themes of the metropolis. Audibly and visually, the viewer is put in a flicker between serenity and intensity; harrowing ambience cut with sharp beeps, vulnerable steps mashed in high velocity.

This is a didactic film in disguise. A progression of brilliant geometric shapes bombard the screen to the insistent beat of drums. The filmmaker programmed a computer to coordinate a highly complex operation involving an electronic beam of light, colour filters and a camera. This animation film, without words, is designed to expose the power of the cinematic medium, and to illustrate the abstract nature of time.

Confusion settles in the house, how to make it a home again?

In an indeterminate future, forbidden memories challenge a database containing all human memories. An experimental cinematic search between past and future, fiction and fact, Prishtina and Tirana. The future, a glitch.

After a flat tire leaves her stranded in the woods, a woman revisits haunting memories of her self-destructive tendencies on the finger nails. As she peels the skin from her fingers, each strip draws her deeper into the past. With every layer, she steps closer to the hidden child within herself.

Toby and his human are enjoying a peaceful afternoon, but a fleeting flash of light outside the window breaks the harmony. Something has changed.
Iwasaki’s ink oscillates like an evil lava lamp that might actually be alive and its progression into more and more disturbing images create an impressive sense of dread in a film that is basically just some pencil drawings on a blank background. (Film School Rejects)
An experimental short from Oskar Fischinger
Through symbols evoking love of beings, a human searches them and finally drowns in a moving dream and denies reality.
A disorienting realm where reality itself flickers and fragments. Through a visceral exploration of digital distortion and failing verification processes, this challenges your perception and dares you to question what lies beneath the surface. Are we truly awake to the genocides and wars raging beyond our privileged bubbles, or are we content to remain ensnared by manipulated realities? This is a personal call to shatter the illusions, to seek deeper truths, and to recognize the profound fortune of our existence amidst global turmoil.
